Wanting more, my first YouTube video

Wanting more, my first YouTube video

20 Dec 2023

Talking more, to exchange more.

For several years now, I have been telling myself that I would like to share more with “my audience”. I often want to make Instagram stories and share a few of my thoughts, my questions about photography, or even talk about walks I enjoyed. I started doing that as articles on this blog. But even though people do come here to read me, I still feel it is not impactful enough. In short, I want more!

YouTube? After all, why not. I can do it simply. I recently bought an iPhone 15 Pro and it films really well, so I might as well use it. A microphone, and off we go. I am even taking advantage of being at my parents’ place for the end-of-year holidays. Home is a good starting point, after all. It makes me want to travel across France again and show you everything I love seeing and photographing in our beautiful country. Yes, I am a little chauvinistic.

My first “real” video.

I had made an “episode zero” when I was still living in Nantes, but I did not really enjoy the format. So here I am again, with the real first video. I sincerely hope I can keep the rhythm I want to follow: simple shots, no color grading. It is raw, but it works. I want to improve my diction too, because I do not find it easy to speak alone in front of a camera. I will try to be as natural as possible.

So here is the first YouTube video!

It is here:

Photos from the video

With each video, I will share the photos that appeared on screen, if you want to enjoy them.
