Hello!
I hope you are doing well. Over here, I have been working for months on volume 1 of a series of photo books. Humbly called “Mathieu Odin Vol.1”, I would like to release a volume every two years. The idea is to offer a landscape photography book made from images I took during my first two years living in a camper van. The book is ready; I still need to make a first print to see the result. I still have a few questions: how many copies should I print? Should I only do pre-orders? 25? 50? 100? Create a numbered edition? To be continued.
I receive a few private messages here and there from people asking about my Lightroom settings, or whether I can share my presets. I have never really known where I stand on that. I have saved settings I have been using for years, and I have evolved them over time and through my photographic work. Do I really want to sell that work? Would it really help you, or is it better to let you make your own way through the world of photo editing? Share presets for free? Charge for them? Not share them?
I hope you are enjoying your summer. See you, Mathieu Odin
