Backpack 0.0 by Haize Project: more than just a backpack, an everyday companion.
Before setting out on this big adventure of nomadic life, I had to rethink the way I manage my everyday belongings. How could I travel with my entire life inside a vehicle, safely and as comfortably as possible? The answer: the Backpack 0.0 by Haize Project, one of the best backpacks I have come across.
Haize Project, the concept of an almost infinitely modular backpack, built for everyday life.
Nicolas, Vincent and Andre are three friends who launched the slightly crazy project of bringing to life a durable, thoughtful backpack that can do everything. After two years of research and development and a successful crowdfunding campaign, they released the Backpack No.0.0. It is truly the result of close collaboration with many users and outdoor-sports enthusiasts. The Haize backpack quickly became essential in my daily life.

- Backpack 0.0 modularity: an essential pillar of the bag
The goal of Haize Project was to consume less and consume better. They designed their backpack so accessories can be added or removed depending on your needs. You can start with an ultra-simple, practical backpack for everyday city journeys and turn it into a real hiking backpack, built for the road and travel.

By choosing, like me, the “Full Pack” backpack, you can have all the accessories you need to adapt your bag as you wish: hiking belt, packing cubes for your clothes, S, M and L straps to attach everything you need to your bag, an extra pack to add underneath for more volume if necessary… Not to mention the side pocket for your laptop or the shoulder pocket for your smartphone. In short, the list is long and not exhaustive.
This entire backpack has been thought through and designed to adapt as well as possible to your everyday life. In my specific situation, that was a real plus compared with other backpacks. I finally found the perfect backpack for living and travelling every day with the essential things I need constantly with me.
- A lifetime-guaranteed backpack for uncompromising durability
In their desire to create a durable backpack, Haize chose to guarantee their backpacks for life. True to their values, Haize believes that if they claim to design robust backpacks, they must also make them repairable when needed. Reducing environmental impact and being transparent with customers: that is what this backpack brand offers.
I was very attracted by the modularity of this bag, but my final purchase decision was justified by this second argument. Let’s be honest, not everyone is necessarily ready to invest between 249 euros and more than 400 euros, depending on the pack, in a backpack. Fair enough. But knowing I would receive a backpack guaranteed for life, capable of replacing all the others, made me take the plunge.
I now have a “Full Pack” backpack, with no further needs and no future purchase to plan. Whether it is to store my many clothes, my work equipment - laptop, camera, lens - my toiletries, my water bottle… This backpack has become my true travel companion, either as a simple transport bag or as an ally for hiking and bivouac trips.
- Controlled design and durable materials
The last argument for this brand is its choice of materials. They are recycled, robust, and Haize ensures complete transparency across the entire supply chain. That was essential for a brand that wants to be durable and thoughtful.
I have always wanted to consume intelligently, without going against my comfort or my needs. Choosing this brand echoed my values while also perfectly meeting my expectations.
Real human contact that made me become a brand ambassador.
So you might be thinking that I am praising this backpack because I want to sell it to you? Well yes, but also no.
- The exchange and collaboration experience with Haize Project
I bought two “Full Packs” during their crowdfunding campaign, and I praised their merits so much around me that, without meaning to, I contributed at least a little to the success of the funding. That is how I found myself in direct contact with the creators of this bag. They were very receptive to the feedback we could give them and very willing to improve and refine their product. From there came a real exchange, and it immediately won me over.
Beyond the fact that I had found a backpack that met all my needs, I also had the possibility to interact with the brand and contribute to its evolution. And for them, having two nomadic people using their backpack every day in the way it was designed to be used helped them truly understand the impact of their product and its possible room for improvement.
- Becoming a Haize Project ambassador: my considered choice
When I was asked whether I wanted to become an ambassador for the brand, I thought about it for a while. To be completely honest, I knew I was a little overloaded by all these influencers of every kind who only want to sell, sell, sell, without really believing in what they sell. I did not want to fall into that trap and do free advertising to earn money at the expense of my work and my creativity. But I love my bag so much that I recommend it to most of the people close to me, if only for its solidity. That is why I joined Haize as an ambassador.
Haize Project offers you 15% off with the code ODIN3000 (for any order over 150 euros).
