Actually, I have always believed badly

Actually, I have always believed badly. Strange sentence, right? Yesterday I watched the entire documentary about Squeezie, and I had also watched the one about Orelsan. Never Show That to Anyone had led me to think that you need to be well surrounded for things to work and move forward. Be hardworking and well surrounded, because Orelsan is indeed a hard worker. I had often thought about it after years of watching Gotaga through YouTube and Twitch, seeing him evolve and surround himself well. I found that great.

But then why an article, Mathieu?

I am getting there. Yesterday, one more thing struck me while watching the documentary about Squeezie. He is certainly well surrounded, but above all he is supported, and that is when the click happened.

I have often thought that others in front of me were simply benefiting from their parents’ money, while I had to do everything alone. But in the end, the question is not financial. It is about moral support and believing in the other person. Orelsan, Gotaga, Squeezie and many others have people around them who support what they produce, and I think that is an incredible strength.

So what? You do not feel supported, man?

It is more complicated than that. I have support from friends, and I thank them for it. Some of you know I have a large family, and on that side, it is dead calm. I would just like to say this: encourage your children.

Thank you to all the people on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and elsewhere, who sometimes send me a message to say they like my photographic work. Thank you for the follows and likes, even if that is not what matters most to me. Keep going. Comment. Support me with a few words sometimes, it makes all the difference. Thank you.
